YASUNI SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH STATION

The Yasuni Scientific Research Station (YSRS) is open and welcomes all tropical reserachers to visit and sudy in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

The station is located in Yasuni National Park, a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve, and the 700,000 hectares of primary rainforest theirin are home to the riches fauna and flora assemblage on earth. YSRS provides researchers with logistical support, laboratory space and comfortable room and board at reasonable rates. The site is easily reached by air and land from the Ecuadorian capital of Quito. Operated by the Universidad Catolica of Ecuador, the facility also allows the use of the university's extensive laboratory and herbarium facilities and extensive zoological collections in Quito.
